Almost that time on year once again for the famed wildflower at Devils Fork State Park. One of South Carolina’s earliest wildflowers, the Oconee Bell, is a rare flower that can be seen in bloom mid-March along the Oconee Bell Nature Trail of this state park. This is one of a few other locations in the mountains of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia that you may find colonies of this plant.
