Next week is the start of Euphoria Greenville, which is a multi-day event that features food, wine and live music. This much anticipated long weekend starts Thursday, September 21st and last through Sunday, September 24th. Proceeds from Euphoria go back to the community by helping to fund Local Boys Do Good, a local non-profit.
As a sampling of the events, how about a bike ride with George Hincapie on that Thursday? Yes! Grab your helmet and join the group leaving Hotel Domestique for a 30 mile ride with one of the premier riders in the world. When you return to Restaurant 17, you will be greeted with drinks and lunch.
For Friday, try the Taste of the South event with riparian entertainment! That evening, along the banks of the Reedy River, you will enjoy food from renowned Southern chefs alongside live music from local artists.
Perhaps on Saturday, you are ready for a class, a tasty class that is! At 1pm, you can join the Art of the Biscuit class to learn the secret to making a classic, fluffy biscuit, a cherished staple of the South.
Once the sun goes down that Saturday night, the town of Travelers Rest will turn its attention to the Big Easy Bash, a New Orleans-inspired party. With the jazz band hot, you can enjoy not only the music but various beverages known from The Crescent City (and let’s not forget the food too)!
Sunday’s brunch, Fired Up, highlights BBQ with 8 pit masters all together in the West End. But don’t worry, even if BBQ isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other options that will surely tickle your taste buds.
We are able to only highlight a few of the events. For a full list and detailed information please click here.
