Noted as one of the “10 Best Fall Harvest festivals in the Nation”, get ready to enjoy all the Annual Apple Festival has to offer! This one-day celebration highlights Haywood County of North Carolina’s agricultural heritage of the Fall season and will be held Saturday, October 21st from 19am to 5pm. It is also the area’s premier juried arts and crafts event so you certainly do not want to miss this!
Waynesville, North Carolina, is nestled in the Smoky Mountains – a beautiful location anytime of the year but particularly stunning in the Autumn time. Among the exhibitors will be live entertainment and lots of delicious food to enjoy. But let’s not forget the real stars of the day…the apples! Haywood County has an antique apple orchard with rare varieties of apples for you to taste and purchase (not to mention the renowned apple cider…yum!).
