Asheville’s “Shindig on the Green”!

Convenient to residents of Lake Keowee is the wonderful city of Asheville, North Carolina. Host to many wonderful shops and attractions, this town also I offering a free mountain bluegrass and dance festival every Saturday of the Summer until August 31st.
From about 7 to 10pm, come and enjoy the many talented musicians and dancers from all across Western North Carolina to share in this South Appalachian mountain tradition.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to get your spot on the green but that doesn’t mean you have to sit the entire evening…
You may bring a picnic meal or purchase food from the various stores around the green.
