Amenities: Cliffs Club Members enjoy reciprocal golf, amenity, and dining privileges at all seven Cliffs communities.
Golf: The Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is nestled along the valley of Walnut Cove, bordered to the north by the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the west and northeast by Pisgah National Forest. According to Dave Heatwole, senior associate with Nicklaus Design, players have a lot of options with this course. Elevations of 2,100 to 2,250 feet, gently rolling slopes, challenging greens, bent grass fairways, and strategic bunkering make this a course to remember. Plus, the perfect southern exposure provides for four-season golf.
Clubhouse: Known as the Golf House, the nearly 20,000 square foot building, situated in Walnut Cove’s Club Village, is home to a fabulous Pro Shop, well-appointed locker facilities, spacious lounges, and the Turnhouse Grille. The inviting Tudor exterior was awarded “Best New Clubhouse” of 2006 by Golf Inc.
